Reimagining Events

As we look forward, what should we be doing to create “must attend” events? How do we successfully mix and promote Education, Exhibits, Networking, Keynotes and Special Events in the new landscape where we find ourselves now? And what can we do to accelerate pre-registrations so that we can plan better (and sleep better!)?

After facing existential challenges to their industry, event organizers have responded by reshaping and evolving their models. Short-term fixes have had their positive and negative results, but looking ahead, what does the future hold for events? The needs and expectations of attendees, exhibitors and sponsors are certainly evolving. How will face-to-face meetings continue to morph? How will demography, geography, accessibility and economy interact to attract and serve B2B media leaders? Which disruptions will stick and what new ideas are now building in event-centric communities? In essence, who is creating successful events today and how will must-attend events look going forward?
