Brian will explain how two of the training businesses in Diversified Communications’ portfolio have increased engagement, driven double-digit revenue growth and set themselves up for future success leveraging paid and free membership, paid e-learning products (including multiple certification programs), and events.

Bio

Brian Cuthbert, is Group Vice President at Diversified Communications, handling all facets of Diversified Communications’ Business Communities portfolio. This is made up of communities whose information and networking needs are met through conferences, tradeshows, and digital products that serve a variety of functions and industries.

His portfolio includes The Running Event, Running Insights, Best Running Stores, The Administrative Professionals Conference, EA Ignite, American Society of Administrative Professionals, AP & P2P Conference & Expo (Spring & Fall), The Institute of Finance & Management and Intersolar North America.

He is charged with the overall success of all products and offerings within this group, ensuring profitability, customer engagement, and customer satisfaction.  He leads a talented team of Directors who have day-to-day responsibility for their products and our goal is continue to grow our certification, attendance, exhibit sales, and membership.

In addition, he handles personnel, bonus plans, sales support, and overhead expenses. He works with central teams to achieve functional goals, creating business plans that align with development and strategic planning initiatives. To drive growth, he realizes the organization’s structure. As result, he was able to grow conference attendance, sponsorship, and revenue. He is proud to have realigned under-performing events to better serve his customers.
