Expanding Revenue with Mobile Products
At Farm Journal Media, mobile affects everything they do. Mitch will give examples of what it means to be mobile first. Of particular note is their MMS/SMS texting business that has 90,000 subscribers receiving 1 to 9 text messages (including advertising) a day. They are also developing many new products designed primarily for phone. More than 60% of their traffic is mobile and they have a half-dozen apps, on demand radio and TV (over the top) through app as well as a number of other mobile products.
